Thermography is a non-destructive imaging technique that uses an infrared camera to measure and visualize thermal radiation emitted by the surface.

The data is converted into a colored image that can be used to identify temperature variations, heat loss, and therefore moisture or insulation defects in roofs.

At dusk, the temperature of the membranes drops, whereas if there is water under the finishing membranes, it will remain warmer and can then be identified without altering the roofing complex.
